About Us

“The Parish is where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of action and of hope. They are where the Gospel is proclaimed and celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the earth. Parishes are the place where God’s people meet Jesus in word and sacrament and come in touch with the source of the church’s life.”
— American Bishop’s Pastoral Letter, 1993

Our Mission

The Community of the Good Shepherd actively welcomes and embraces all people who desire to draw closer to God and to each other through our Eucharistic Worship.

When we share the Bread of Life as Word and Sacrament, we love, support, and serve one another in the fullness of our Christian lives.

We engender a fervor for the faith through spirited formation for members of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and personal circumstances.

We respond to the Good News of our salvation by being light to the world, pursuing mercy, justice, and giving generously in charity.

Interested in joining our community? Stop by the Welcome Desk in the main foyer after any weekend Mass. Our Welcoming Shepherds will be happy to answer any questions or walk you through the registration process. You may also register with the office receptionist in the parish office, or register in our parish online.

The Welcome Desk is also home to our ministry brochure kiosk. Stop by and take home brochures of any of the ministries and social and educational opportunities that may interest you and your family.

After registering, you will receive a call from a member of our Welcoming Shepherd ministry who will answer your questions or help to connect you with a ministry group.
