Volunteer Opportunities

Listed below are volunteer opportunities that request immediate help:

Group Looking for Contact Phone
St. Vincent de Paul St. Vincent de Paul is in need of volunteers to assist in the following areas: 1) A volunteer who will check the incoming phone call message line on a daily basis. This can be done from home. The volunteer would fill in a Call Sheet and then call the Vincentian who works with the client to handle the request for assistance. Call Sheets are then dropped off at church, when convenient. A little more than one call per day is received during the year. 2) A volunteer is needed who is able to come to church about two times a month to enter call information into the St. Vincent de Paul database. Estimated time required is 2-3 hours per month. 3) A Windows XP based laptop is needed. Minimal hard drive space and memory are required. Would you be able to donate this laptop? Parish Life The Green Thumbs volunteer group is underway in maintaining our beautiful landscape here at Good Shepherd and are in need of your help.
