At a typical meeting, men spend 20 minutes in fellowship.
Then the meeting begins with a hymn, a Scripture reading, and prayer needs.
An hour is spent on a presentation by a member or outside speaker along with small group discussion of the topic.
The meeting concludes with the Lord’s Prayer and business meeting topics followed by fellowship
for those who can stay.
We gather in Christ’s presence in an atmosphere of trust, equality, and anonymity to share personal feelings
and experiences.
We unconditionally accept each other and prayerfully support one another.
The Men’s group is involved in many projects within Good Shepherd and the outside community including the annual
“Answer the Call” Catholic Men’s Conference, annual Men’s Retreat,
and Charity Dinner for Myelin Disorder and other diseases.
About 15 men regularly attend the semi-monthly meetings and approximately 40 men participate in the
annual Men’s Conference.
The group is always happy to welcome new members; all men of the parish, married or single are eligible.
This is an opportunity to become a better individual, husband, father, and follower of Christ in your daily life.
