Health Ministries

As volunteer health ministers led by our parish nurse, we help other members of the community in dealing with a variety of health needs.

Ministry volunteers support monthly blood pressure screenings, health screenings, caregiver support, spiritual healing touch and a lending program for medical equipment and other materials.

To join any of these ministries, complete our quick ministry participation form.

Spiritual Healing Touch
Bring God's compassionate healing to those who suffer in any way by drawing upon the Light of Christ as the healer. We use all the gifts that God has given us in this healing work including our knowledge of healing energy (as taught by the Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry Program) which is God's ever-flowing grace in our lives.

The Spiritual Healing Touch Ministry believes:
God is the source of all healing,
Jesus came so that all may be saved...be made whole,
Healing (wholeness) can happen in the absence of cure,
Healing Touch is rooted in the ancient Christian tradition of laying-on of hands that was modeled by Jesus,
Healing Touch (HT) is a sacred healing art grounded in the conviction that HT practitioners are facilitators of God’s healing power.
