Support Ministries Everyone needs help from time to time. Whether tragedy, health, or other circumstances create the need, Good Shepherd members are dedicated to helping one another in time of need. Helping hands and comfort for shut-in members of the parish and those recovering from illness or surgery. Bereavement ministers help in planning and coordinating funeral liturgies, providing ongoing support for those in mourning, and an annual retreat for grieving people. Members minister to the whole person through monthly blood pressure screenings, wellness events, caregiver support, and a Healing Christ Ministry - healing touch. A ministry designed to support married couples of all ages as they seek to strengthen their relationships. A support group for divorced, separated and widowed people serving northeast Cincinnati. Parents of gay and lesbian children who are in need of education, understanding, compassion, love and support. Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon groups hold regular meetings on Monday evenings at 8:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd.
