We participate in a variety of social, service and spiritual programs including the Junior High Core Team.

Junior High Religious Education
Students attend classes to learn about our faith while making new friends. Classes are based on parish-provided textbooks, but expand on the text with discussion, small groups, icebreakers, journaling, and prayer. There is a fee for these classes. Registration forms are available in the parish office.

Junior High Youth Ministry
Closely tied to the Junior High Religious Education Program, these ministries interlock faith, community and social services through spiritual activities. Activities are open to anyone - all are welcome. Social activities include dances, canoeing, hayrides, ice cream parties, and ski trips. Service activities include Soup Kitchen, Mini-Mall, holiday services, and fundraisers. Spiritual activities include World Youth Day, prayer services, Thanksgiving potluck, and a Junior High Retreat held in January.

Junior High Core Team
Our Core Team organizes social activities for other junior high students, and participates in service and spiritual activities. The Food Fast charity fundraiser, Christmas Mini-Mall, World Youth Day, and parish Prayer Services are great community service opportunities. Core Team meets to plan activities as well as share stories, tell jokes, and strengthen friendships. The commitment lasts all year (June to June); the application process takes place at the end of the school year, and requires an interest sheet and two recommendation forms.

Junior High and High School 2008 Mission Trip - Oceana, West Virginia
Mark your calendars for the 2008 Reach Workcamp, July 19-26. This year's trip will take us to Oceana, West Virginia. It will be a week of high-energy, meeting new friends, working for a worthy family, growing in faith, and having fun. Students who are currently in grades 6-12 are welcome to attend. Registration packets are now available in the parish office. If you registered by the early deadline, you received a discount on the cost. The cost now is $575 for late registrations. Additional fees will be charged for our free-day activity. Please complete your forms and return to them as soon as possible. To begin, please complete a Commitment Sheet and return to Jeffrey Davis.
