Youth Ministries

These ministries encompass the youth of the parish and the young at heart to lead them. Our Total Youth Ministry approach involves education, responsibility and a participatory spirit in all aspects of religious life through Good Shepherd. The Ministries focus on community within the church, introducing teens to a wide variety of activities to help them connect and discover who they are. Youth contribute greatly to the spiritual, social, and educational atmosphere at Good Shepherd as well as the community.

Junior High Youth Program

Seventh and eighth grade students develop their faith, enjoy themselves, and strengthen their leadership skills in the Religious Education Program, Youth Ministry, and the Junior High Core Team.

Senior High Youth Program

High school teens have a more responsible position in the parish while continuing to have fun and serve the community. The program concentrates on spiritual socialization for all high school youth, not just members of Good Shepherd, and includes the L.I.F.E. Ministry, High School Youth Ministry, Peer Ministry, and Confirmation program.

Adults Working with Youth

An opportunity for adults to participate in spiritual programs offered to the youth.

Cub Scout Pack 489

Pack 489 is sponsored by Good Shepherd Church and scouts from any religious affiliation are welcome.
