We participate as high school students, whether or not we are a member of Good Shepherd. The program, open to all, provides many opportunities for involvement, friendship, spiritual growth, and service.
To join any of these ministries, complete our quick ministry participation form.
High School Youth Ministry
We participate in social, spiritual, and service activities throughout the year, revolving around Sunday Night Live. We have prayer, skits, games and small and large group discussions that allow us to use the knowledge we have gained from earlier religious studies with daily applications to real life situations.

Peer Ministry
The most advanced of the youth leadership programs, we play a huge part in the Confirmation process, serve the parish and community, continue to develop leadership skills, and, of course, have a ton of fun! All Peer Ministers are welcome to attend service activities (like the St. Francis Soup Kitchen and Tender Mercies housing project), help Confirmation class teachers, and take part both in planning and running the Confirmation Candidates Sunday Night Live program. We may also help manage the Confirmation Retreat, and participate in the Talk, Random Acts of Kindness, and Care sub-groups.

Meeting Times: TBA
Time Commitment: At least 2 hours per month.
Confirmation Program
Students in grades 9 through 12 who have not made their Confirmation are enrolled in this program. The candidates focus on the theology of Confirmation and examine the basic beliefs of Catholicism. They attend Sunday evening classes, participate in a weekend retreat, service projects and attend the youth group meetings called Sunday Night Live.
