Confirmation Preparation - Youth
The sacrament of Confirmation completes the sacrament of Baptism. As Baptism is the sacrament of being born to supernatural life, Confirmation is the sacrament of maturity and coming of age.

In this year of transition from 9th grade to 8th grade, our program will include youth in 8th or 9th grade who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Classes are broken up between the 8th grade candidates and any high school students who have not yet received the sacrament. The 8th grade classes have the confirmation preparation as part of the curriculum.
Meeting Times
The high school classes will take place on Sunday evenings 5:00-6:30pm starting in January.
Any 8th grade candidates who cannot attend the Tuesday evening Faith Formation class will be able to attend the Sunday evening Confirmation Preparation session with the high school program.
Preparation
In our preparation classes, you will learn what the Sacrament of Confirmation means and how it finalizes the initiation that takes place during Baptism. It is the time to state your acceptance of God’s love in your life.
The preparation classes examine the sacrament in full to give you the full understanding of your actions in this statement of faith. The program is to help ignite your passions while answering the questions you may have about this next step on your path as Catholics.

I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep.
— John 10:14-15
