Gift Bearers
Gift Bearers bring forth the gifts to the altar at the Offertory on behalf of the entire congregation.
The Gift Bearer ministry involves the preparation of the gifts before the beginning of liturgy, participation in the processional and recessional, and bringing forth the gifts to the altar at the Offertory.
Ministers participate in offering these services about once every month. Gift Bearers need to arrive 15 minutes before Mass for set-up.
There is an half-hour training session prior to participation in the ministry. Ministers may be single or family units.
