Healing Christ Ministry - healing touch
We are a non-liturgical healing ministry that invokes God as the Source of all healing.

The ministry follows the Instruction on Prayers for Healing issued by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (9/14/2000) and written by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI), and the Healing Touch Program™.
MISSION
The Mission of the HCM is two-fold: to renew the Church’s role in healing, and to encourage and restore those in need of healing in body, mind, soul and spirit through creation, prayer, the laying on of hands, healing touch, and Spirit-developed energy techniques.
PURPOSE
Jesus’ healing ministry has been entrusted to the entire Body of Christ in varying degrees, not to just a few prominent “healers.” As members of the Healing Ministry Team, we aspire to understand God’s desire for us to participate in healing, and to pray for and administer healing through prayer and touch to those who seek healing in our community. We are also commissioned to live simply.
PARTICIPANT’S ENVIRONMENT for Healing Sessions
The environment is a sacred place and set up for the convenience of the recipients. Healing Touch tables, similar to massage tables, are covered in fresh sheets with pillows and blankets for people’s comfort. We ask that you take off your shoes prior to getting on the table. The lights are turned low and soft music plays throughout the session. There is a welcoming by the narrator and then prayer before the healing session begins and throughout the session. Narration of the techniques is done so recipients are aware of our presence.
When a believing person prays, great things happen. (James 5:16)

I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep.
