Each year in May, volunteers donate blood to restock the local blood supply to help those in need of a blood transfusion.

Hoxworth Blood Center, who provides blood and blood products for transfusion to the greater Cincinnati area, conducts the collection on the assigned day.

Who Can Donate?

Donating blood is safe and easy. In general, to give blood for transfusion purposes, you must be in general good health, at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 lbs. and not have donated blood within the last eight weeks.
