Prayer Blanket Ministry
Volunteers sew and quilt a 20x20” blanket with fabric they provide.

The purpose of the Prayer Blanket Ministry is to cover the recipient in prayers. The ministry began during the Easter season of 2004.
Members of the ministry sew the prayer blankets in their homes while praying for those who will be receiving them. Each person who receives a Prayer Blanket is lifted daily in prayer.
The Prayer Blanket has been blessed and is a symbol of Good Shepherd Parish's prayer for those who receive it. God has used this beautiful ministry to touch the lives of people who have received the Prayer Blanket while enduring any diesease of body, mind, or spirit.
The Prayer Blanket, before the Lord, truly transforms it into the very fabric of our pleas for God's healing.

I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep.
