WHO CAN BE A PEER MINISTER?
Anyone entering grades 11 and 12. Every applicant may not be accepted.
WHAT WILL THE PEER MINISTRY TEAM DO AT GOOD SHEPHERD?
Lead the annual Junior High retreat on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 6:00–10:00 p.m.
Collaborate with the Jesuit Spiritual Center to lead the Confirmation retreats on Sunday, January 26, 2025 and Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
Lead at least one Club 7/8 event
October 20, 2024 | November 17, 2024 | December 15, 2024 | February 16, 2025 | March 16, 2025 | April 27, 2025
12:30 – 2:00 p.m.
Facilitate activities and prayer at Flock events throughout the year.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PEER MINISTER
Attend at least 2 Peer Ministry Trainings

6:45–7:45 p.m.
Attend planning meetings for retreats and events, as scheduled by the team.
Commitment to deepening your personal relationship with God.
Motivation to serve your peers out of heartfelt compassion and concern for God's people.
A willingness to respectfully support and engage with all students.
Be a positive role-model and witness to a life of faith inside and outside of Youth Ministry.
Desire to grow in faith and/or discern a call to ministry.
